Genio e sregolatezza, la vita di Prince Rogers Nelson, così come la sua carriera, è stata un’altalena di cadute e trionfi.
Irrequieto e intransigente, Prince è stato per oltre trent’anni uno dei più talentuosi, prolifici e camaleontici artisti della musica mondiale.
Non è mai facile raccontare la vita di una leggenda come Prince. Non fraintendetemi, non basterebbe un libro per descrivere la sua vita, però niente può raccontare un’artista come la sua arte.
Prince era: presenza scenica, amore per lo spettacolo, moda, cinema, Prince era soprattutto musica.

Dal soul al funk, dal jazz al rock, “lo slave” di Minneapolis è stato capace di miscelare i più svariati stili musicali creando un repertorio senza eguali.

Io voglio salutare Prince con il malinconico viola di “Purple Rain” che ieri ha bagnato ancora una volta il mondo…

The life of Prince Rogers Nelson, a reckless genius, just like his career has been a continuous alternation of downfalls and victories.
Troubled and uncompromising, for over  thirty years has been one of the most talented, prolific and versatile artists of music.
It’s never easy to tell the life story of a legend like Prince. Don’t misunderstand me, a book wouldn’t be enough to describe his life, but nothing can really tell us about an artist more than its own artwork.
Prince was: stage presence, love for the show, fashion, cinema, but above all he was music. Minneapolis’ “slave” managed to mix together various musical styles and genres: soul and funk, jazz and rock, thus creating a unique repertoire.
I want to salute Prince with the gloomy purple of that “Purple Rain” that yesterday, once again, poured on the world.
