Mi risulta difficile raccontare la sessantennale storia di Moncler in poche in righe.
La Maison nata nel 1952 a Monastier de Clermont, è figlia dell’ intuizione dell’artigiano francese René Ramillon, che cogliendo l’espansione sociale del turismo di massa fonda il suo ‘Impero di piume”.
Moncler, che nell’immaginario collettivo è sinonimo di piumino, è diventato oggi un marchio di lusso che unisce la praticità al design.
Simbolo degli anni ’80 e del mondo paninaro, il brand sotto l’egida di Diego Ruffini, rivoluziona il concetto di piumino riportandolo ad essere un capo globale.
Semplicità, sensibilità estetica ed eleganza si fondono in una continua e costante ricerca tecno-stilistica, che reinterpretando i goffi capi invernali fa della leggerezza il suo punto di forza.

Telling this story -that started more than sixty years ago- using very few lines it’s not an easy task, specially because we’re talking about Moncler.
The Maison was born in 1952 in Monastier de Clermont from the intuition of the french artisan René Ramillon, who, riding the social expansion of mass turism as a perfect wave,  funds his “feather empire”. Moncler, which in the collective imagination means quilted jacket, has today become a luxury brand that unites practicality and design.
As a symbol of the 80’s, this brand, under the aegis of Diego Ruffini, revolutions completely the concept of quilted jacket, making of it a world-wide used garment.
Simplicity, aestethic sensibility and charm blend together in a continuos and constant research of design and technology, that reinterpreting the winter clothes makes of the lightness its strong point.
