Zaha Hadid: the fashion Archistar

Oggi voglio celebrare con voi Zaha Hadid, una delle archistar che ha contribuito a ideare e creare la “nuova Milano”.
Prima donna a vincere il Pritzker Prize, la Hadid è conosciuta anche per aver creato un’eccentrica linea di scarpe femminili che sfidano non solo la gravità, ma la maggior parte delle leggi della fisica e dello stile.
Detto tra noi: è dal 2010 che cerco di capire se mi piacciono o meno, certo è che avere la firma di un architetto sotto i piedi fa sempre il suo effetto.
Irachena, classe ’50, Zaha a creato una collezione che esprime i suoi 30anni di studio e ricerca creativa: un progetto particolare non solo dal punto di vista del disegno, ma anche dal punto di vista tecnico.
Scultoree, avveniristiche e decostruttive, come le sue opere, le scarpe sono espressione di quel design rivoluzionario che trova la sua massima espressione nelle forme sinuose degli spazi Hadid.
Non solo scarpe, Zaha ha spesso strizzato l’occhio al fashion system prestando il suo nome a diverse collaborazioni; su tutte voglio ricordare quelle con Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Lacoste, Adidas e Swarovski.
Sempre diverse l’una dall’altra, prive di chiusure e cuciture, le sue creazioni sono un’opera d’arte, veri e propri lasciti che la grande archistar ha donato al mondo.

Today I want to celebrate with you Zaha Hadid, one of the starchitects that contributed to the creation of the “new Milan”.
Hadid, first woman to win the Pritzker Prize, is also known for an eccentrical line of shoes for women that challenge not only gravity, but also the common laws of physics and style.
Between you and me: I’ve been trying to figure out if I like them or not, since 2010, but I must say that having an architect’s signature on your feet has its charm.
Iraqi, born in 1950, Zaha created a collection that expresses her 30 years of studies and creative research, a special project, not only for its design, but even from a technical point of view.
Statuesque, futuristic and deconstructive, just like her works, these shoes express that revolutionary design which realizes itself in the sinuous shapes of Hadid’s spaces.
Not just shoes, Zaha often had a special consideration for the fashion system by putting her name in various collaborations, among them the ones with: Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Lacoste, Adidas, Swarovski.
Always different and new,  without any  stitching or latches, her creations are artworks, th true bequests this starchitect left to the world.
