Elisa Sednaoui: the rising star

Nata a Bra, classe ’87, dopo i primi anni vissuti fra Il Cairo e Luxor, Elisa Sednaoui erra tra l’Italia e la Francia prima di trasferirsi a New York per iniziare la sua ascesa nel mondo della moda.
Una rapidissima scalata figlia degli scatti di Oliviero Toscani, Antonio Verglas e Laura Sciavorelli la porta a diventare nel 2008 la testimonial di Love Moschino, fotografata da Tom Munro.
Nominata rising star da Vogue.it nel 2010, Elisa è anche una delle modelle del calendario Pirelli firmato Karl Lagerfeld.
Lontana dallo stereotipo della modella attrice, si tuffa nel cinema puntando a pellicole d’autore.
Iconica, semplice quanto elegante, la Sednaoui ama la pelle ed il nero e le mitiche Louboutin…

Born in Bra (Turin) in 1987, Elisa Sednaoui, after a few years living between Cairo and Luxor, wanders throughout France and Italy, just before moving to New York where her fashion ascent starts. Thanks to the pictures by Oliviero Toscani, Antonio Verglas and Laura Sciavorelli she soon becomes (in 2008) testimonial for Love Moschino, pictured, this time, by Tom Munro. In 2010 she’s nominated rising star by Vogue, and she’s also one of the models for the Pirelli calendar by Karl Lagerfeld. Far from the usual model-actress stereotypes, she dives into the cinema’s world. Iconic, simple and elegant, Elisa Sednaoui loves leather, the black, and the mythical Louboutin…
